No. French from Zero assumes you have never studied it. If you have some French already, the placement test will tell you where you actually are, which is often a level below or above where people guess.

Take the placement test, then talk to Elizabeth. The test gives a reliable reading of your reading and grammar. The conversation catches what a test cannot, which is how you sound and how fast you can produce language.

Yes. Everything is live and online, so you can study from anywhere with a stable connection.

Yes, and several students do. Teaching hours are evenings West Africa Time, which lands in the afternoon across Canada and the United States. Students in Asia and Australia are harder to schedule and Elizabeth will tell you honestly if the time difference will not work.

Fluent is a word that hides a lot. A realistic answer: about three months of consistent work to reach a usable A1, six to nine months to a comfortable B1, and a year or more to a solid B2. It depends on how many hours a week you can give it and how much French you use between classes. Anyone promising fluency in thirty days is selling a subscription, not a skill.

Yes. Every class is recorded and shared with you, so you can go back over anything you did not catch the first time.

Yes. A certificate of completion is issued at the end of every programme. It is a record of the work you did with this school. It is not an official CEFR certification, which only accredited exam bodies like France Éducation International can award. If you need an official certificate, the DELF, DALF, TCF and TEF are the exams that provide it, and Elizabeth prepares students for them.

Yes. Monthly, three months, or six months. The longer plans cost less per month.

Within reason, yes. Elizabeth teaches a fixed set of hours each week, so a permanent change depends on another slot being free. Occasional rescheduling is fine with reasonable notice.

Give notice and it is rescheduled where possible. If you miss without notice, the class is counted, because the hour was reserved for you and nobody else could take it. Classes are live and one to one, so a session you do not attend is not recorded. Elizabeth will tell you what it was going to cover and how to catch up.

One to one, always. There is no group option.

Message Elizabeth on WhatsApp. She confirms availability, agrees the plan, and sends payment details. International students are given a method that works from their country.

Tell Elizabeth. She would rather you stop than sit through months of something that is not working. Refund terms are set out in the terms of service.
